triyoga Hot Yoga Open
Our hot yoga classes follow a set sequence of postures designed to increase circulation, flexibility and strength and improve cardiovascular health. Far infrared panels heat the studio to 36 - 38 degrees, with 45 percent humidity. Rather than a "blowing" heat, far infrared creates a gentle heat that deeply penetrates the body.
Great for beginners and perfect for all levels. Arrive well hydrated. Pregnant women or children under 16 are not allowed in our hot classes.
We're sorry, we can't allow any latecomers into class once it begins. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early.
Class full or like to practise from home? You can join this class via live stream. Click book “live stream” or in the app, click the menu icon and choose ‘Live Streams’ to book the live stream version of this class.

Vinyasa Flow is a broad term which describes a dynamic type of yoga where asanas (poses) flow from one to the next, linking breath with movement. It’s a contemporary style of yoga, influenced by the more traditional Ashtanga yoga but it has no fixed sequence; the teacher decides on the class flow and music may be used. You will explore Sun and/or Moon Salutations, as well as creative sequences inspired by that day's focus, be it backbends, hip openers, or twists. You will, if appropriate and safe, practice inversions before the class closes with a restorative meditation and savasana.
We offer different levels of Vinyasa Flow classes – from slower to very challenging.
This Open Level class is suitable for beginners as well as those with more yoga experience.

*1st Friday of every month
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced form of yoga where poses are held for long period of time – anywhere between 3 and 5 minutes. There is a particular focus on improving flexibility and some postures can be quite challenging. Most of the postures are seated.
Yin can be used as an aid to improving a more dynamic yoga practice or sports activities which may need deeper stretching to compliment muscle build up. Not without challenge, these postures target deeper areas of the body, the connective tissues and fascia that wrap around our joints and muscles, leading to a slow release of tension and stress.
This class is open to people of all levels and yoga backgrounds.

A dynamic style of yoga. We begin with warm up exercises and then progress to standing poses, twists, forward and backbends and balances. The focus is building strength and also flexibility. This can be a challenging class so expect to work hard. I teach a slow flow where we explore different poses and link them together in a sequence.

Yin yoga links the concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine with yoga. One of the basic concepts of TCM is that stagnation in the energetic channels of the body causes illness. Health is achieved and maintained by having a smooth flow of chi (vital life force) throughout the body. The long slow holding of poses in Yin Yoga allows time for patterns of chronic tension to be eased and transformed.
-
As the name suggests, Restorative Yoga allows for deep rest while you are supported by props: bolsters, blankets and foam blocks. An excellent and revitalising practise for times when you feel depleted and run down.
-
This style of yoga is a good choice for beginners or those returning to yoga practice after a long break. Movement is linked to the breath so the experience is almost like a physical meditation. Poses are held for several breaths to allow time to find the shape in the body.
Small Group Classes are also available at Julia’s home studio in Tufnell Park, N19.
Blocks of 6 classes can be purchased directly for £72 (£12 per class)*
*T&C’s to be given at point of purchase. For use within 3 months.
