I'm a yoga teacher and shiatsu practitioner based in London with my family. I have practised yoga for over 30 years and am passionate about sharing its many wonderful benefits.
I teach various styles of yoga - Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Hot Yoga, Restorative, Yin and Yoga for Cancer. These classes can be in person and via Zoom. I teach public classes at triyoga Camden and Down To Earth in Tufnell Park, and also private and corporate classes.
My love of yoga was kindled in 1988 when I was working in Stockholm. Instantly smitten, I've been practising ever since. Quite simply, I love yoga, and I love sharing what I have learnt with others. The benefits of practising yoga go much further than the purely physical.
I have trained with some extraordinary teachers: my first 200 hour Teacher Training was with Bridget Woods Kramer at Triyoga. I have subsequently studied with Donna Fahri, Kristin Campbell (Hot Yoga), Mimi Kuo Deemer (Vinyasa), Anna Ashby (Restorative), Norman Blair (Yin) and Vicky Fox (Yoga for Cancer).
After my treatment for breast cancer in 2023, I had several months off work which allowed me to go very deeply into my practice. Grounding myself with yogic breathing techniques was invaluable to me as I went through all the various invasive scans and procedures. My practice became a way to still feel like I was me.
Committing to a regular yoga practice really can be transformative. You learn breathing techniques and movement patterns that over time can change how you feel in your body. Anyone can experience this wonderful and ancient practice.
The path is made by walking.
